Public Notice of DDA Promotions Committee Meeting

The Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority’s Promotions Committee will hold a committee meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the 9AM in the Conference Room at the Mix Coworking Studio (where the DDA office is located), at 125 E. Main St. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and execute the board’s plan for promotional and marketing materials. The meeting is open to the public.

Alternatively, to participate in the meeting by providing public comment, you may email your public comment to the following email address schmidtk@villageofmiddleville.org. Emails received prior to the meeting at the above-listed address will be read aloud during public comment. Persons with special needs who wish to attend should contact the Village Clerk to make arrangements for participation. In all other respects, this committee meeting will be held in accordance with Michigan’s Open Meetings Act and the DDA Bylaws, as those rules may be modified from time to time.

PUBLIC NOTICE ITEMS FOR SALE

The Middleville DDA will be accepting sealed bids on items for sale. Bids must be to the attention of Middleville DDA Surplus and may be mailed to PO Box 402, Middleville MI 49333 or hand-delivered to the DDA office located at 125 E Main Street, Middleville, MI, inside of the Mix Coworking Studio.

The Middleville DDA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities in any bid, and award the bid(s) in a manner that the DDA deems to be in its best interest, price and other factors considered. Bidders must bid on each item separately. Bidders are instructed to mark the outside of the envelope “SEALED BID” and include their name and address, phone number, the dollar amount of the bid, and the description of the item they are bidding on.

All items sold AS-IS and are available for visual inspection by appointment. Please contact Director Katherine Schmidt to arrange an appointment to view the items at (269) 241-1170 or email katherine@middlevilledda.org. It is the bidder’s responsibility to make sure bids and quotations are received by the Director on or before the due date. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPED OR CONSIDERED. The DDA Board will open and vote select wining bids at the April 19, 2022 meeting. Contact Katherine with any questions.

DDA Design Committee Meeting

The Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority’s Design Committee will hold a committee meeting on Monday, March 14 at 10 AM in the Conference Room at the Mix Coworking Studio (where the DDA office is located), at 125 E. Main St. The purpose of the meeting is to review a sign grant application and the meeting is open to the public.

DDA Art Committee Meeting

Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 6:00 PM at The Mix

The Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority’s Art Committee will hold a committee meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 6:00 pm in the Common Area at the Mix Coworking Studio (where the DDA office is located), at 125 E. Main St. The committee will explore plans to incorporate art-based activities into Spring Fest and will discuss other public art projects planned for the upcoming year. The meeting is open to the public, and anyone with ideas or a passion for art is invited to attend!

DDA Organization Committee Meeting

The Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority’s Organization Committee will hold a committee meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 3:00 pm at the Mix Coworking Studio where the DDA Office is located, at 125 E. Main St., Middleville, MI 49333 to review the financial policy and the costs of downtown maintenances. The meeting will take place in the conference room and the meeting is open to the public.

Public Notice of DDA Training Workshop

The Village of Middleville Downtown Development Authority’s Art Committee will hold a Training Workshop on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the Council Chambers at Village Hall, 100 E. Main St. The purpose of the workshop is to review TIF Authority operations and train board members in public financial administration. The workshop is open to the public.
